I thought that anyone who signed within the window of the draft was fair game once the freeze period was over, as Peguero for instance signed during the start of the 2nd rd? The whole point of the Darvish pick? That drafting a player gave you rights until like Feb 25th on them? Odor signed before the end of the current league draft so I assumed he was elligible, he was on my to-sign when I made room list since the post-draft freeze ended like I said.
It doesn't strike me as a big deal, but it does seem that by the letter of the rules laid out in the forum, he should be elligible, he was part of the 2010 IFA crop anyway, and viewed as such. I also imagine that the signing was completed before January 1st, since there are full reports up on the date itself, and he was a relatively low-profile signee, as opposed to a Salcedo or Alfaro, where people were probably clamoring for information.
