Jason...Marlins 2nd, Royals 3rd...won't happen....the Royals announced Ponson as their 4th starter...The Marlins have an infield of Cantu, Hanley, Uggla, Bonifacio....you can expect 20+ errors out of each.

Looking at how mediocre the AL Central is, I think that the Royals have a legitimate shot of going all Tampa Bay on everyone. They have two solid top of the rotation starters, 2 excellent BP guys at the back and some promising bats that could make some noise if everything jells right. They could be feisty.

You missed the Yanks Ryan. No I didn't. This stems from my belief that by mid-season, they will have dropped out of MLB to play in the YES Baseball Association. A league in which they play mostly college teams and win a number of Steinbrenner Trophies over the next few years. Assuming that doesn't actually occur (I think its at a solid 88% likely) I'd slot them between the Rays and Jays.

I'm rooting for the Royals..but they're just not that great. Ponson & Horacio Ramirez are both in the rotation. Bannister is being what he actually is, a mediocre 5th starter. Jose Guillen doesn't want to be there. Teahen will be playing 2B for the first time in his life. Billy Butler needs some more time in AAA, DeJesus might be the most overrated lead off hitter in baseball....Alex Gordon was rushed, Farnsworth was a bad signing. As much as the AL Central sucks, they're still a 74-win team, even with Meche & Greinke winning half of those games.
