you'll regret it tomorrow, Houston, when you decide to go for it all this season tomorrow. But then, fortunately, your other personality will kick in this weekend, and decide to build for the future, and you'll be calm again......until Monday

I'm overly protective of my waiver position (for some unknown reason), but I couldn't pass on Thames' projections.
For comparison, I've been trying to get Jermaine Dye from Houston, and went as far as offering up some decent prospects for him. Now, for dropping my waiver position and Trevor Plouffe, I pick up a guy whose projected OPS is .821 against Dye's .859. Most outlets have Marcus back in the lineup within two weeks, and there's a fair chance I'll put him in my starting lineup.
Worth a waiver claim every time.

Who are you again? Are you the guy that inherited a young contending team with like Pujols and Prince Fielder, and turned it into mush, or am I thinking of another guy?

You are definitely thinking of another guy, I would never, ever trade a guy like Pujols. Take it easy, I'm just busting your chops. Our time in this league is coming soon... ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Ok, good to know you weren't the guy who forfeited the Fielder/Pujols team for a dispersal draft squad. I couldn't remember if you were that guy, or the one who was mad because the trading committee wouldn't let him trade Carlos Pena for like Chris Withrow. Maybe neither?

You got me there, I'm the Pena guy; thank you trading committee. It was Withrow, Westbrook and another guy, I'm going to check to see who that was.

Good old trash talk.
Just remember to kiss and smack each other's ass in a non-erotic way when you're done.

Just start a new thead for transactions. If you want your past transactions, we can copy them into that thread, but they aren't really necessary to keep.
