So I was wondering if anyone has ever applied to ESPN and been called for an interview.
I've always heard that when you get interviewed you have to answer questions about sports in general so I was curious if anyone has gone through this process.
Today I had my process of it as I was driving home from a separate interview in CT. I damn near crashed my car (not part of the test of course).
But apparently I passed the first part, so now tomorrow at 5pm I've gotta take a 45 minute test with ESPN online regarding sports.
Has anyone ever taken this test and know the basic format of it? I'm assuming I should freshen up on all sports history, records, mvp's, champions etc...but are there other odds and ends? I don't want to study the wrong stuff before the test.
I have no idea how many questions the test consists of tomorrow, but I know if I'm so much as a second over 45 minutes to submit it I automatically fail and my dream of working for the Worldwide Leader in Sports is over.
Any feedback would be awesome. Thanks guys.
Oh, and btw, here's the questions I had to answer today, not too shabby:
How do you mathmatically calculate ERA?
Name 2 LA Lakers besides Kobe Bryant.
Name the last 5 Heisman Trophy Winners and the schools they attended.
Who holds the NFL Record for career TD passes?
Name the 4 men's PGA golf majors.
Who holds the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball record for career wins?
That was fairly simply and I hope they're all that easy, if not, welp, then it's a crapshoot.
