Lookin good so far, liked the Beckett move a lot. Yea, IMO, the Beckett move, at that price, is the best of the 226 moves ( last week ) that you have made. Nice trade on your part.

Time to start the over/under wagering.
How many prospects will the Cardinals need to drop to get to a legitimate active roster.
The last DB had 14 carded players so I'll throw a line out of 7.

Let's see, currently carded: 14
B. Clevlen, K. Davies, K. Hart, C. Jimenez, Ledezma, O. Matos, An. Miller, Ad. Moore, J. Phelps, J. Salas, I. Snell, J. Stevens, RJ Swindle, J. Thatcher
Definitely getting projections: 5
Allen Craig, Ivan DeJesus, Alcides Escobar, Dexter Fowler, G. Moscoso
Likely getting projections: 3
Daryl Jones, Nick Weglarz, Carlos Santana
Possible: 2
Yonder Alonso, Wilson Ramos
Not likely, but possible: 4
Pedro Alvarez, Christian Friedrich, Juan Ramirez, Adam Reifer
So, as of now, 19 sure things. And if say 2 of the likely, and 1 of the possible get projections, that makes 22.
I plan on picking up 2 guys in the Rule 5. That's 24.
So, one short. But I'm banking on someone dropping guys that I like to get down to 50.
I feel alright dropping lower level guys; I end up picking up more good guys than I can use anyway . . .

Sorry Tony, Yonder doesn't have a chance.

Probably not, but I was surprised when Beau Mills got a projection last year. That was my main reason thinking Alonso might get one . . .

I wouldn't count on Daryl Jones getting one with the logjam of OF in Saint Louis already. They are going to have hard enough time finding AB's in the projection for all of them.
